Feeding the Valley in Partnership with Columbus Parks & Rec Presents:
March 8, 2020
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Northside Recreation Center
Sponsored by Columbus Parks and Recreation
The Empty Bowl Project is a grassroots event held across the U.S. to raise awareness about hunger. In Georgia, one in five children are considered food insecure. Columbus Parks and Recreation has been hosting the Empty Bowl Luncheon for more than 25 years. Select a beautiful hand-painted or handcrafted bowl and enjoy soup and dessert. Take your bowl home as a reminder about hunger in our community. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or at Britt David Pottery Studio in Columbus. For more information, please call Melinda Hull at 706.653.4196.
All proceeds from this fundraiser benefits Feeding the Valley Food Bank’s Kids Café Program.
Together we can solve hunger.
