DESCRIPTION:Empty Bowl is on a Sunday afternoon in early March. It is a signature community event for Feeding the Valley and raises awareness about child hunger in our community. Hosted by Columbus Parks and Recreation\, Empty Bowl is a Sunday afternoon drop-by luncheon. Ticket holders receive a handmade or hand-painted bowl along with a wonderful lunch of soup and sides. Additional bowls can be purchased. Your bowl is to be a reminder about child hunger in our community. Proceeds from Empty Bowl benefit our Kids Café Program. Sponsorship opportunities are available for this worthy cause.
