DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Big Shred – To Keep Kids Fed! \nThis is a LaGrange community on-site shred day and food drive. \nBring your old bank records\, tax records\, receipts\, personal papers that need shredding!\nDrive through and the RiverMill Data Management shred truck will be onsite to shred your documents. Businesses are also welcome to use this service. \nHelp us get through a food shortage! There are two ways to help: \nDonate Food – When you attend The Big Shred\, please bring a donation of non-perishable food items\, that will go right back into the community to help our Partner Agencies provide food for families facing hunger. \nMake a Monetary Donation – For every $1 donated\, Feeding the Valley can provide 6 meals to someone in need. Bring your donation when you attend The Big Shred\, or DONATE HERE. \nYour support is appreciated!

SUMMARY:Empty Bowl
DESCRIPTION:Empty Bowl is on a Sunday afternoon in early March. It is a signature community event for Feeding the Valley and raises awareness about child hunger in our community. Hosted by Columbus Parks and Recreation\, Empty Bowl is a Sunday afternoon drop-by luncheon. Ticket holders receive a handmade or hand-painted bowl along with a wonderful lunch of soup and sides. Additional bowls can be purchased. Your bowl is to be a reminder about child hunger in our community. Proceeds from Empty Bowl benefit our Kids Café Program. Sponsorship opportunities are available for this worthy cause.
