DESCRIPTION:What is the Food Fight?\nThe Georgia Accounting Food Fight brings together Georgia’s accounting firms and industry accounting departments each year in a friendly competition to raise funds for Georgia’s Food Bank network! Last year’s competition broke records by raising $347\,591 — the equivalent of over 1.3 million meals. \nThe competition will remain fully virtual this year\, and all fundraising can take place through our easy-to-use online platform.  \nThroughout eleven years of partnership\, the Georgia Accounting Food Fight has helped provide over 9 million meals for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. \nThis year\, our collective statewide goal is to raise $275\,000 – the equivalent of over 1\,000\,000 meals for kids\, seniors\, and families in Georgia – and we need your help to make it happen. \nThank you for your past support and advocacy on behalf of your regional food bank. SUMMARY:Letter Carrier's Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries. Since launching in 1993\, the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has grown into the nation’s largest one-day food drive\, helping to fill the shelves of food banks in cities and towns throughout the United States. \n\n\n\nThe need is great\, but you can help. We invite you to join letter carriers and our partner organizations in the fight to end hunger in our communities by participating in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. \n\n\n\nSimply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag on May 10th near your mailbox\, and your letter carrier will do the rest.
