FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMS
Food Distribution is our original mission. We gather food from national retail stores, transport it and bring it to our warehouse where it is sorted and inspected. We have more than 275 non-profit partner agencies from our 18 county service area that shop in our warehouse and provide the delivery channel to reach food insecure* individuals and families in their communities. These agencies are churches and non-profit organizations that provide health and human assistance services. Some examples: Open Door Community House, Valley Rescue Mission, Easter Seals, Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA and many others.
*What is “Food Insecurity”?
Food insecurity is defined as not having reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.
