The Big Gobble: November

Join Us to Make This Thanksgiving Special!

Last year, we delivered over 3,000 Thanksgiving meals to elderly and homebound neighbors who otherwise wouldn’t have had a holiday meal. This year, we aim to do even more—our goal is to prepare and deliver 5,000 meals to individuals and families in need on Thanksgiving Day. This year, these meals will go to all 18 counties served by Feeding the Valley.

How The Big Gobble Works: With the help of local organizations, we identify the elderly, disabled, homebound, homeless, and families in need. Throughout November, hundreds of volunteers come together to cook and deliver meals to our neighbors in Calhoun, Chattahoochee, Clay, Dougherty, Harris, Lee, Marion, Meriwether, Muscogee, Quitman, Randolph, Schley, Stewart, Talbot, Terrell, Troup and Webster in Georgia, and Russell County in Alabama.

How You Can Help: For just $10, you can sponsor a Thanksgiving meal, delivered right to someone’s door on Thanksgiving morning. Help us spread joy by becoming a “Cranberry Companion” and making someone’s holiday unforgettable.
