The calls are nonstop. Every day, our phone lines are flooded with parents who are worried, exhausted, and out of options. They are asking one question: “Where can I find food for my children?”

These are families who were just barely getting by. Their SNAP benefits have been reduced, and grocery bills are rising sharply. With no relief in sight, what used to be enough is no longer sufficient. These are also seniors, our most vulnerable neighbors who are making heartbreaking decisions between buying their medicine or eating. This overwhelming surge in need cannot be ignored. We must act.

Not with business as usual, but with bold new action.

Our Bold Response

Feeding the Valley is launching the Community Hunger Relief Fund to respond to this urgent moment. With your support, we will:

Purchase and acquire more nutritious food to fill the gap left by federal cuts.

Reach more children and homebound seniors by expanding routes and increasing transportation capacity.

Provide no-cost grocery options for working families who are caught in the gap. These are families who earn too much to qualify for assistance but not enough to make ends meet.

This funding will provide practical solutions to urgent local problems, so that when families call, we have real help to offer, not just sympathy.

Your Voice Matters

We know these struggles are real because we hear them every day.

But we also need your voice to help others understand. If you have been impacted by shrinking benefits or rising food costs, please consider sharing your story. When we speak together, our voices are stronger.

Feeding the Valley will use your story to help advocate for change and increase support.

This is not just a food bank issue. This is a community moment.

When federal support fades, it’s time for neighbors to help neighbors.

We are asking individuals, businesses, churches, and civic groups to stand in the gap. No child should go to bed hungry. No senior should have to wonder where their next meal will come from.
